Every year at the end of summer there is a one-time special brew of Troubadour Magma in which one aspect of the recipe is changed. Troubadour Magma is an amber colored beer with the bitterness of an American IPA but balanced with the fruitiness of a Belgian Triple and fruity aromas from the dry-hopping with SIMCOE hops.
This year, brewery The Musketeers went even further and found hops at the other side of the world, where very specific hops are grown in New Zeeland and Australia.
The brewers selected GALAXY, hops with a very intense fruity aroma, typical for this region. It gives an extra hop dimension to Troubadour Magma.
